using this convenient foldable guide. Maps with directions,
photographs and instructional articles in German and English
make this part of the city’s history understandable across
borders. Part 1 documents the traces and remnants of border
barriers on the Flutgraben channel. Part 2 explores the history
(and stories) of the Wall in the surrounding area. The route
is ideal for cycling and runs from Kreuzberg through Friedrichs-
hain and Alt-Treptow to Neukölln. Traces of the border and
diverse city landscapes as well as a variety of new things can
