Christine Brecht • Born in 1966 in Bad Tölz, Christine grew up in West Berlin, studied
history, philosophy and political science and now works as a historian and curator in the
field of the cultural history of knowledge and the contemporary history of Berlin.

Elke Kimmel • Born in 1966 in Westphalia, Elke studied history and theater in Berlin.
She received a PhD in modern history in 1999 and is currently a freelance historian and
journalist working for various multimedia and exhibition projects of contemporary history.

Svenja Moor • Born in 1972 in Hamburg, Svenja studied art history and philosophy in
Greifswald, Vienna and Berlin. She is a curator and publicist and has developed and
completed several projects with contemporary artists including the »Letzte Überprüfung«
project in the Schlesischer Busch watchtower in the Treptow borough of Berlin.

Grenzspuren am Flutgraben is a project of Grenzläufte e.V. Grenzläufte is a nonprofit
association and was founded in 2007. Its aims are to collect, document and publicly
present the history of the former border area and to develop forms and concepts of effec-
tive public outreach.
